so i have a video file

i have an audio file

both wont import into the porgram

the container went from .mkv (unsupported) to .mp4 (supported) with NO fucking conversion, all video and audio is untouched... but the moment they re mux they are so out of sync its pathetic.

im sorry, but for fuck sake this is horrendous... i cant do what i want to do... so ill fucking improvise... im going to point web cam at the monitor to capture video, and capture audio through stereo mix... im so fucking sick of this shit... if this works... well... lets hope it does... i know no one likes video taken this way but i cant find a way around it.

editing program found

i gave up on finding a program that worked with mkv, as apparently there isn't a single fucking program that can do that... however, i have found a program that doesn't butcher the video that i shoot, and thats what is most important.

im looking for a way to split an mkv file, so i can get the audio and video separated, that way i can import them one at a time... its defiantly not the ideal way to handle this, but its probably the only way i can.

also looking for an omg spliter or what ever that format before mkv was used was.

also working on a website... yea... working isn't the best way to put it... more like dicking around with a website... its more of a dumping place for my thoughts right now, it may turn into something... someday... but not right now... but if i could incorporate this blog in the main page... its possible that i could have something.

audio quality

for some reason the audio is... well... compressed sounding... shy of recording audio and video separately and syncing them later, there isn't much i can do at the moment. this is on my list of things i need to figure the fuck out though... the first is real video editing software, thats far more pressing than anything else currently.
